Big Ben is one of the most famous landmarks in London, England. It is a large clock tower located at the north end of the Palace of Westminster. The tower was completed in 1859 and is known for its massive clock and the big bell inside. Many people call the entire clock tower "Big Ben," but actually, Big Ben is the name of the bell. The tower is about 96 meters tall, which is approximately 316  feet. It has four clock faces, each 7 meters in diameter, so it can be seen from many parts of London. The clock is very accurate and is famous for its reliability. Big Ben is a symbol of the United Kingdom and British culture. Every hour, the bell rings, and it makes a loud, clear sound that can be heard across the city. Tourists from all over the world visit Big Ben to take pictures and learn about its history. Inside the tower, there are stairs and an elevator that take visitors to the viewing platform, where they can see a beautiful view of London. The building has beautiful Gothic architecture, with intricate details and decorations. Over the years, Big Ben has become a symbol of democracy and the British government. It is also used on many British coins, stamps, and in movies. Despite its age, Big Ben still works perfectly today.
